I purchased the Fowl & Feathers Chicken Coop while in-game yesterday. My game froze/locked up and I shut down my computer, deciding to deal with it today. The Chicken Coop is in my downloaded objects page of the launcher, but every time I try to install it gives me the following message: 'Please make sure your game has the latest software updates and try again.'

There are not any pet ducks or chickens in the game, nor were they ever suppose to be in the game. The duck food and chicken food you see is not food for those. In sims 3 pets you can get chicken coops so why can't you get chicken?, The Sims 3 Questions and answers, PC.

My game and store are both up to date, as far as I can tell. My base game version is 1.63.4.024001. I have all of the expansion packs except for Island Paradise. I tried downloading it directly from the Sim3 site and installing that version, but the same thing happened. I've clicked the 'Check for Updates' button in the launcher several times, and it always comes back saying my game is up to date. What do I need to do to install this object?
