2/10/17 My old Win XP Compaq S200 flatbed scanner was loaded in Windows 7 32 bit Pro. I know the drivers are for Windows XP but surprisingly Windows 7 loaded them and found the device in Device Manager and is listed as working properly.

I prefer this method rather than a Virtual PC, xp mode (previous older computer setup) The scanner utility loads up and the settings can be changed accordingly. When I try to perform a test. Preview or scan it initially starts then stops and hangs up until I force close the utility. The light bar stays in the same stuck positon untill I open the utility when it returns to a ready position. Sorry for being long winded and stubborn but if possible, I would like to get this running before I go out and buy a newer model.

Hi there, Unfortunately there aren't any Windows Vista or Windows 7 drivers available for the compaq s200 scanner, and it's not listed on the Vista or Win-7 hardware. Anyone know how I can get the compaq s200 flatbed scanner to work with Win7 32 bit.
